Private key restore wallet no funds

Hi all,

I forgot my password of the iconex wallet.

I have the private key and and also the Keystore file.

When I use the private key, it lets me enter the private key, the system accepts it, and it asks me to enter a new wallet name, password, renter the password and GO. The wallet opens with 0 funds when I should be able to see some icx in there. Any ideas why by using the private key to restore the wallet, the wallet has no funds?

Hey there, I’ve helped a number of people with this problem. You’ve most probably just entered an invalid address ie you might have the correct address but you have read it incorrectly/made a mistake when entering in the private key.

Try it again :crossed_fingers:
