ICON Pinas first applied for a Grant Application on September 28, 2020.
Here are the KPIs for this reporting period:
KPI #1: Number of members in Telegram group
Members: 4,155 (September 28)

KPI #1 Target: 7,000
Similar to our previous reports, ICON Pinas is actively recruiting new ICONists, utilizing techniques such as: AMA events, referral bonuses, giveaways, etc. to come and join the ICON Pinas Telegram chat.
Engagement is substantially impacted and boosted by tipping bots, such as Tipicon and TipTap.
KPI #2: Number of YouTube subscribers
In addition to Telegram, ICON Pinas is actively working on growing our YouTube channel:

Event #1: Have a Marvelous Christmas Design Contest
To help celebrate the holiday season and share the gift of Marvelous gift cards, ICON Pinas collaborated with P-Rep team ReliantNode to launch the Have a Marvelous Christmas design contest:

Event #2: CryptoChain PH AMA
On January 9, ICON Pinas participated in an AMA event with CryptoChain PH, a leading crypto community in the Philippines, on Telegram:
ICON (Contribution Proposal System, ICON Republic website, and ICONFi) were prominently featured during this AMA, along with DAOcolors.
Event #3: ICON Pinas Fashionistas
Our team continues to work on developing our website and merch store, and in parallel, we thought it would be fun to host an event on Telegram to give our community members a chance to not only win ICON pinas merch + ICX, but also the opportunity to be featured on the actual website’s photo galleries:
ICON Pinas Fashionistas event concluded on January 15, and we are currently in the process of opening up community voting to help determine winners.
Event #4: Crypto Titans AMA
Our second AMA in January was held on January 16, this time with the Crypto Titans community.
The feedback we received during this event was highly positive:
Event #5: ICON KABOG!
In addition to our regular ICON KABOG! events hosted 2x/week on the ICON Pinas Telegram chat:

Further, our team has added a Raffle Trivia event, in addition to ICON KABOG!:
Community members are able to earn daily tickets for answering correct ICON-related questions.
Raffle drawings occur 1x/week (typically on Sunday).
These cumulative efforts have helped the ICON Pinas Telegram chat average 7,048 messages/day, from October 16 to January 19 (duration of the grant).
ICON Pinas Telegram chat is consistently ranked in the top 5 of Telegram Groups in the Philippines, based on combot data.
Event #6: ICX News Ngayon Quiz Time
To boost engagement on our Facebook page, the ICON Pinas team has been promoting ICX News Ngayon Quiz Time, 1x per week (usually released on Saturday or Sunday coinciding with the latest episode of ICX News Ngayon), over the last few months.
Similar to our last report, for a given Quiz Time event, we are currently still seeing ~25-30 entries.
KPI #4: Successful launch of merchandise store
Current: Execution stage
As mentioned in the previous report, our team has been mostly focused on payment solutions during this reporting period. Although solid progress was made in this regard, our team unfortunately won’t be able to launch the live merchandise store this month, as there are still items that need to polished up.
On the website front (i.e., Articles, Videos, Blogs), we anticipate to be about 90% complete, with just minor refinements left to be made, and the addition of links/resources.

Barring any unforeseen surprises, we anticipate being able to launch the ICON Pinas website and merch store in February.
