ICON Pinas first applied for a Grant Application on September 28, 2020.
Here are the KPIs for this reporting period:
KPI #1: Number of members in Telegram group
Members: 4,155 (September 28)

KPI #1 Target: 7,000 (after 3 months)
Similar to our previous report, we are still actively recruiting more ICONists, utilizing techniques such as: AMA events, referral bonuses, giveaways, etc. to come and join the ICON Pinas Telegram chat.
Engagement is substantially impacted and boosted by tipping bots, such as Tipicon and TipTap.

KPI #2: Number of YouTube subscribers
In addition to Telegram, ICON Pinas is actively working on growing our YouTube channel:

Event #1: DAOcolors AMA with ICONbet
To help celebrate and promote the launch of DAOcolors on ICONbet, our team kicked things off in early December with an AMA event on the ICON Pinas Telegram chat, featuring developers @Geo_Dude and @shikamarumind, with a prize pool of 500 ICX. Many thanks to the ICONbet team for helping to sponsor these DAOcolors events.
Event #2: DAOcolors Game Night Q&A
We followed up the AMA event with a Game Night Q&A session, on December 3, also on the ICON Pinas Telegram chat.
Event #3: NomadFury Live AMA 2.0
On December 4, our team attended a live AMA event with NomadFury (a local Pinoy crypto influencer), on his Facebook page.
This live AMA session with NomadFury provided us a wonderful opportunity to discuss and showcase both ICON and DAOcolors.
Event #4: CoinValue Community AMA
Next, our team was back on Telegram on December 5, this time being featured as a guest on CoinValue Community to discuss ICON and DAOcolors.
Event #5: Donation Drive in Caloocan City
Thanks to the wonderful support from both ICONbet developers and ICONbet Community (helping to raise donations), our team was able to take part in a donation drive in Caloocan City, providing help and relief to 200 families who were impacted by Typhoon Vamco (Ulysses).
Although not how we ever previously planned to host an in-person meet up, this Donation Drive provided us a rare opportunity to interact with some of our closest and most passionate ICON Pinas community members.
Also, we owe many thanks to the global ICON community! Words can’t express how much your generosity means to us. We’re so thankful and humbled by the outpouring of love, support, donations, and more during this most dififcult time.
Event #6: ICON KABOG!
In addition to our regular ICON KABOG! events hosted 2x/week on the ICON Pinas Telegram chat, during the month of December, we also featured two special rounds, to help promote the launch of DAOcolors.

Event #7: ICX News Ngayon Quiz Time
To boost engagement on our Facebook page, the ICON Pinas team has been promoting ICX News Ngayon Quiz Time, 1x per week (usually released on Saturday or Sunday coinciding with the latest episode of ICX News Ngayon), over the last few months.
Similar to our last report, for a given Quiz Time event, we are currently still seeing ~25-30 entries.
KPI #4: Successful launch of merchandise store

For this report, we’re excited and happy to share some teaser images of what the ICON Pinas website will conceivably look like upon release.

Also, the merchandise store will be a key highlight, and to start things off, we will be offering ICON Pinas t-shirts (please note, actual colors are subject to change, and the following images are merely serving as placeholders for now)…

The next step for us is to integrate payment solutions, which we will need to spend time debugging before the official store launch. Although ideally we would like to have our website and merch store live and fully launched by our next report submission, conservatively speaking, we think we will need an additional month of testing to ensure their are no surprises and bugs… Nevertheless, we’re really looking forward to our next progress report, as we think the bulk of the design work for both the website and merch store will be completed by then.
