Project Description
The proposal consists of integrating ICON Network on the State of the DApps platform, alongside other already integrated projects such as Ethereum, NEO, EOS, Loom, etc. After the integration will be over, all the ICON DApps can register/ be included on the platform under the ICON Network section, free of charge.
State of the DApps is one of the biggest platforms that gathered existing decentralized applications in one place, in order to facilitate the access to the newest and most innovative projects. It is the place to-go for every user that wants to find relevant DApps and the according information about them.
Reasons for choosing State of the DApps above other platforms
- According to their team, the platform has almost 100k unique visitors/ month on the website, which means that ICON Network will greatly benefit in terms of reaching a targeted audience interested in decentralized applications (adoption);
- State of the DApps is currently ranking on the first place on Google organic search for the keyword „blockchain dapps“ and on the first results page for „decentralized applications“. This means that if a user types these keywords on Google, he will receive the State of the DApps platform as one of the first options. This could bring a lot of new users, not only to the ICON Network, but to the ICON Network DApps, contributing to the growth of the whole ICON Ecosystem;
- After the integration of ICON, all ICON DApps can submit their projects to the platform free of charge;
- The platform offers qualitative customer support;
- They have 11.3 K followers on Twitter, audience which will be used for promotion of the ICON integration;
- As Chainode Capital P-Rep team, when we first joined the network almost one year ago, one of our main contribution proposals was to increase the awareness around the ICON Network and the ICON Network Ecosystem. We already built the iconecosystem.io platform that hosts all the relevant DApps and tools built on ICON, and we believe that facilitating the integration of ICON Network on the State of the DApps platform is perfectly aligned with our mission within the ICON project.
- Project Duration (Maximum of 6 months)
The project is set to last for 6 initial months. If we notice that the project is successful, we might consider prolonging the grant/funding.

1st of March - 31st of March (one month): The integration of ICON Network on State of the DApps

Extending the submission form with ICON Network as option besides existing options

Submission of ICON contract addresses (mainnet)

Blockchain explorer links to ICON addresses/ contracts

Showing ICON Network statistics and charts on DApp details (depending on hosted API availability)

Block processing for ICON transactions (depending on hosted API availability)

Blog / Tweet / press release of ICON integration on State of the DApps, Chainode Capital and ICON Ecosystem social channels
1st of April - 31st of August (5 months): Monthly support from State of the DApps

Any technical support if needed for proper data gathering and showcasing

Community management outreach

Customer support for ICON DApp teams and submissions

Marketing and promotion support (guest blog posts through social and blog)

Ongoing review of ICON DApps for content quality
1st of September - undefined: State of the DApps Support Extension or Chainode Support for DApps on ICON

Extending the subscription to State of the DApps if proves to be worthy

The alternative is that Chainode team will take over and research, publish changes as well as new DApps on State of the DApps platform

Chainode will also take care of marketing every new DApp submission to State of the DApps

Chainode self-initiative will be best-effort based, depending also on the available resources

01.03 - 31.03 (1 month): The integration of ICON Network on State of the DApps (2.500,00 EUR) - one time fee fully transferred to State of the Dapps
01.04 - 31.08 (5 months): monthly fee
<20 ICON DApps added to the platform (500,00 EUR/month) fully transferred to State of the Dapps
20 - 50 ICON DApps added to the platform (700,00 EUR/month) fully transferred to State of the Dapps
01.03 - 31.08 (6 month): Chainode Capital team coordination, promotion & integration support (1.500,00 EUR)
Total sum (depending on the number of ICON DApps integrated on the platform): 6.500,00 - 7.500,00 EUR (equivalent to 17.600 ICX - 20.500 ICX)
